In The Spotlight: A head-hunter looking to congratulate her latest placement.

A bespoke humidor crafted from Lebanese cedar.

Recently, we were approached by a successful head-hunter, who had placed a new client into a six-figure position and wanted to send a gift to celebrate. While he usually sent wine or bourbon, this time he wanted to give something a little more special – not only was this one of his biggest placements, but the client could also bring him substantial work in the future.

After learning more about the client, we commissioned a local maker to craft a bespoke humidor. Designed to keep cigars at an optimum humidity and temperature, they prevent cigar tobacco from drying out or swelling up, so that they can be properly enjoyed.

As a nod to the client’s roots, we requested that the box be crafted from cedar imported from Lebanon, his home country, as opposed to the Spanish cedar, usually used. The head-hunter was thrilled with the result, while his client said it was the most thoughtful gift he’d ever received.
